Steelers' Chris Wormley Wears Trevor Lawrence Jersey on Show

Last week we were all aware what needed to happen for the Pittsburgh Steelers to make the playoffs. It was a longshot - one that required the 2-14 Jacksonville Jaguars pulling off the upset against a 15.5 point favored Indianapolis Colts. The Steelers also had to beat their rival, the Ravens. 

So defensive lineman Chris Wormley, who’s registered a career-high 7 sacks on the season, made a promise to the guys of Yinzer Crazy last Tuesday. He said, “if the Jaguars beat the Colts and we beat the Ravens, I will buy a Trevor Lawrence jersey.” 

Lawrence of course was the first overall draft pick out of Clemson last year. He had thrown for a total of 2 touchdowns in his last 9 games combined. But on Sunday, he came through for the Steel City, tossing 2 TD’s and posting a QB rating of close to 112.
